GEP Nursing Students Returning to Classes
Pictured are seven of our second-year nursing students, returning to their nursing school classes last week after a ten-month pandemic shutdown. Some schools are beginning to reopen in Bangladesh. We look forward to the end of covid restrictions and the safe reopening of every school. In the meanwhile, the girls and young women in the GEP have been studying their class materials daily. They also receive teaching and tutoring assistance from our local GEP staff, which is very beneficial in the absence of in-class instruction. GEP girls are determined to press on through the challenges of the pandemic, and keep making progress toward their dreams.
