From GEP Students to GEP Teachers!

Fourteen young women who have been students in our GEP are now part-time teachers or teaching assistants in the GEP! Three of them are pictured here. Most of these fourteen young women are in University or College themselves, so they are continuing on with their own education, while simultaneously earning money to support themselves by teaching younger girls in the GEP. This win - win situation is an example of what we want to see happen more broadly in Bangladesh -- educated young women, earning a salary, contributing to the well-being of their communities, serving and giving back to others.
